Excuse my super scary poopy face, but I have recently hit a pretty legit crossfit milestone–the 300 lb deadlift! Taylor snagged my phone and got it on video (I had no idea or maybe I wouldn’t have let my face be so ridiculous.)
When you’re trying to be polite and hold in man grunts your face can get pretty crazy… lol, whatever.
ALSO I was working on bar muscle ups the other day because we were supposed to do 30 ring muscle ups (which I obviously can’t do) and I did a couple pretty easily with a skinny band so I decided to just try a few with no band and I did TEN of them. Without a band. TEN. Yes, 10 sets of 1. That’s another milestone for me. I’m actually more excited about that than I am the deadlift. Just sayin’.
I don’t even have anything else to talk about. Except paleOMG no bake sticky berry bars.
I forgot to take a pic of the finished product but they are SO so so so sticking easy to make! You just process some cashers and dates with some almond butter and a little cinnamon and salt. Then press it into a loaf pan.
Then you throw some berries into a saucepan with some maple syrup. Turn it into jam and then add coconut cream. Pour it into the loaf pan and stick that mother into the fridge for a couple hours and voila!!! (That’s not how you spell that is it?)
I took them to Justin and Allison’s fish fry and shared them with some cool people. But for a girl who wants to drop some lbs, I was terrible all weekend. I ate fried fish, fries, and oreos at the cookout. Then last night I had pizza, and who knows what all else I decided was a good idea over the weekend. Movie theater popcorn, sugar covered sugar. Who knows, I blocked it all out because it was ridiculous. I’m starting a new whole 30 on August 1st 🙂
